Website measurement
When enabled, this website records aggregate page views and actions such as opening the first-note guide. Events use fixed page, action, and referral-category labels. They do not include account identifiers, recordings, notes, full referral URLs, cookies, or device fingerprints. This measurement honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Hosting services may process standard request logs to operate the site.
Measurement is stored as daily counters, not individual event histories. Counters older than the 30-day reporting window are removed when the next event is processed. Diagnostic test counts are kept separate from visitor reporting. Measurement does not track unique people or connect website activity to an Aplomo account.
Information we process
We process your Apple sign-in identifier, account profile, recordings, transcripts, notes, chat questions and answers, subscription status, and limited service diagnostics needed to operate and secure Aplomo. We do not use your recordings or notes for advertising.
Why we process it
We use this information to authenticate your account, preserve and sync your content, transcribe recordings, generate notes, answer questions, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and provide support.
Service providers and locations
Account data, recordings, notes, and application services are hosted on Google Cloud in Singapore. Speech recognition is provided by Deepgram; requests from the United States are routed to North America and requests from Singapore are routed to Australia. Note and chat generation uses Google Vertex AI in Singapore. Provider training opt-out controls are enabled where supported. Global-version content is not automatically sent to mainland-China service providers.
Recording consent
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording another person. Do not record where recording is prohibited.
Retention and deletion
Your content remains available while your account is active unless you delete an individual note. You can permanently delete your account and associated cloud content in Aplomo under Account and Data. Operational backups may take a limited time to expire.
Your choices
You may review or delete notes in the app, revoke microphone access in iOS Settings, manage your Apple subscription, or delete your account. Contact liaoyalei@gmail.com for privacy questions.
